Profile Information

What is your interest in the Creative Arlington beta community?
Learning more about what it is, finding out more about what is going on in the community
How do you or would like to use your imagination and original ideas to enrich the economy and culture in Arlington, and beyond?
I'd like to take after the example of influential reggae producer Coxsonne Dodd, who began by playing records in his parents' liquor shop. That is, I'd like to use my talents, whatever they are, to make this community a better place. I think I'm a pretty good writer, and I know a fair amount about music.

Bio (html accepted)
I try to piece together a living by doing a variety of odd jobs. I feel most defined by being a "writer," because that's what I've done for money for the longest amount of time (ten years). I also care a lot about music, and radio, and so I host a show on WPFW in Washington.

I've lived in Arlington since 2000 and grew up in Fairfax. I wouldn't live anywhere else in NoVa besides Arlington. I'm really proud of what people do to make this community what it is.
What is the one thing you think Arlington is missing? (ie place, event, scene)
A giant Godzilla with a slide coming out of its mouth, for the amusement of children and adults.
Who referred you? This is how we give credit!
Katie Kemple.
