As Marketing Director for Arlington Cultural Affairs since 1996, I work both with supported independent arts groups and County initiatives such as Planet Arlington. Maintaining a regional perspective, current and recent consulting clients include: Dance/USA, KanKouran Dance Co., and DC’s Reel Affirmations GLBT Film Festival. I have conducted numerous PR workshops for the Cultural Alliance of Greater Washington, writing a section for their 2005 book “Marketing: The Tools of the Trade,” and naming their new website, CultureCapital.com. Since 1997, I have hosted WPFW 89.3 FM’s Latin Flavor/Classic Edition (Sun. 6pm). Most recently I researched and wrote a new chapter for the DC neighborhood history Washington at Home (Johns Hopkins University Press, 2009).
