What is your interest in the Creative Arlington beta community?: Growth of the Art as an important component of the Arlington community.

How do you or would like to use your imagination and original ideas to enrich the economy and culture in Arlington, and beyond?: I am involved with the Arlington Artists Alliance and through the alliance help coordinate art shows and events for the community.

Bio (html accepted): I am an artist and a clinical social worker who is a life long resident of Arlington - my grandparents moved here from Capitol Hill in 1919. I had early exposure to arts and crafts but that took a temporary back seat to my development as a clinical social worker. For the past 10 years I have been painting in oils/acrylics and multimedia. My current focus is on plein air painting especially of parks and landmarks in Virginia, Washington DC and West Virginia.
