Does Arlington need a creative or cultural district? Do we need a new Arts Center on the Orange line or are there better ideas? What can government do to help? See, e.g. http://www.cooltownstudios.com/category/government-policy-innovation/

Thanks to Arts and Cultural District Legislation passing in the VA Senate recently, http://capwiz.com/artsusa/va/issues/alert/?alertid=12770266&queueid=2966971776, the time may be just right for marrying good government policy with the creative community. I'll be at the launch event tomorrow night, looking forward to this! -Susan

For examples of what other city and state governments have done, see http://www.cooltownstudios.com/category/government-policy-innovation/
